Wildhearth

Wildhearth is a cozy farming and hunting game set in a mountain valley. Your grandmother has left you her cabin, a letter, and a fire to keep.

Turn the garden and put your first seeds in. Walk down to Hollin for seed and gossip. Read the wind and stalk elk through the long grass, fish still water at dusk, ride Juniper across the valley, and when you are ready, go into the deepwood.

This is an early public playtest, and it's free

What helps most is hearing what you think:

• anything that broke: a crash, getting stuck, something wrong on screen
• what you liked, and what you didn't
• where you got confused, or bored

How to play

Windows: unzip, then double-click Wildhearth.exe. If Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.

Mac: unzip, drag Wildhearth.app into Applications, then right-click it and choose Open the first time. If macOS says it is damaged, the note inside the zip has a one-line fix.

Press F1 in the game for every key. A new build may start you fresh.

A note on AI: the game's code, its written text and the scripts that build its 3D models were made with the help of Claude, Anthropic's AI. The music and sound are made and recorded by people.
